Oversight & trust

Party data deserves more than good intentions

Membership rolls, finances and results are contested by nature. CivicCore is built so that every action is attributable and every sensitive step is reviewed.

How it works

Six things we do not compromise on

Role-based access

A finance officer, a regional coordinator and a super admin each see a different system. Permissions are assigned per role, and every assignment change is itself recorded.

Full audit trail

Every action across the platform is attributable — who did it, what changed, and when. Disputes get resolved with a record rather than recollection.

Separate security logging

Logins, failed logins and permission changes are logged apart from ordinary activity, so unusual patterns stand out instead of being buried.

Approvals before it counts

Financial actions needing sign-off route through an approval step, and broadcasts are reviewed before they reach members. Nothing irreversible happens on one person's click.

PIN and biometric sign-in

Members use a phone number and a 4-digit PIN, verified server-side, with optional Face ID or fingerprint. Repeated wrong attempts lock the account temporarily.

Credentials over WhatsApp

Password and PIN resets are administrator-triggered and delivered to the member's own number — no email account required, and no credential shared in the open.

Data protection

Your data stays yours

CivicCore is operated for your party alone. We do not sell party data, and we do not use it to build profiles for anyone else.

  • Member data is used only to run your party's operations
  • Passwords and PINs are stored hashed, never in readable form
  • Members can request account deletion at any time
  • Available in English and French for mixed-language parties

Bring your security questions

We would rather answer the hard ones early. Ask about hosting, access control, audit records or data protection.
